The National Assistance Board, under the aegis of the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, is currently celebrating Senior Citizens’ Month.
The month runs from September 1 to October 1, 2023, and has as its theme: “Building Caring Communities”.
October 1 has been designated as United Nations Day for Older Persons.
As part of the activities to conclude the Month and celebrate this day, there will be a church service on Sunday, October 1, at the Carrington’s Wesleyan Holiness Church, Welches, St. Michael, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
