The Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology (SJPI) will hold a motorcade on Saturday, July 13, as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
It starts at 8:30 a.m. from the SJPI, Wildey, St. Michael, and proceeds to Oistins, Christ Church; Heroes Square and Jubilee Gardens in The City; Holetown, St. James and Speightstown, St. Peter.
The motorcade will remain in The City until 3:30 p.m. and then move on to Holetown and Speightstown, where it will end at 6:30 p.m. There will be lots of giveaways and prizes from sponsors along the route.
The motorcade was conceptualized to create awareness about the SJPI and its products; celebrate with stakeholders who have been instrumental in the institution’s growth and development; and to help foster a stronger SJPI community.
Members of the public are invited to come out and be a part of the celebrations.
