The new date for the 13th Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP) Memorial Lecture is Thursday, October 19.
Dr. Ian Marshall, lecturer at the University of the West Indies, School of Education, Cave Hill Campus, will deliver the lecture entitled: Re-conceptualising Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Barbados and the Caribbean for the 21st Century. It takes place in the Auditorium of the SJPP, Wildey, St. Michael, from 7:00 p.m.
On that same day, the institution will also take the opportunity to formally launch the SJPP’s Alumni Association and unveil the Alumni Wall of Fame.
Members of the public are invited to attend the lecture and a special invitation is extended to all alumni to witness the unveiling.
