The accomplishments of 30 special needs students in the Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination (BSSEE) 2024 will be celebrated next week by the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs.

The Ministry, in collaboration with the National Disabilities Unit (NDU), will host a Graduate Reception in their honour at the Barbados Yacht Club, Upper Bay Street, St. Michael, on Wednesday, July 31, at 9:30 a.m.

During the graduation ceremony, students will be presented with a Certificate of Achievement and an information technology device that can be used to aid their educational development.

Minister Kirk Humphrey, together with Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, Kay McConney, will deliver remarks.

The National Disabilities Unit, within the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, congratulates all special needs students for successfully completing the BSSEE and being allocated to a secondary school.
