St. Boniface Nursery School will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Sunday, June 4, under the theme: It’s Time To Celebrate.
To mark the occasion, the school, located at Sion Hill, St. James, will hold a function on Wednesday, June 7, at 9:30 a.m. Children will dance, recite nursery rhymes and play the musical bells.
Principal of the school, Valerian Millar, will deliver brief remarks at the start of the event, which will also see senior officials in the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, including Chief Education Officer, Karen Best, visiting and touring the school.
Thursday, June 8, will be Open Day, where parents and guardians of the pupils, as well as the public, are invited to view an exhibition of work portraying various festivals celebrated across the island. This runs from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The week will culminate with a fun day on Friday, June 9, when pupils will enjoy a variety of activities, including a merry-go-round helicopter ride, jumping tent, face painting and tasty treats, among other things. This event starts at 9:00 a.m.
