Residents of St. Peter are being encouraged to place their old electrical appliances and other forms of bulk waste outside their homes for collection on Saturday, August 20, and Sunday, August 21.
That is because the St. Peter District Emergency Organisation (DEO) and the St. Peter Constituency Council have teamed up to host a metal and bulk waste cleanup on those days.
Trucks will move through the parish between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day collecting items ranging from old galvanise, old stoves and televisions.
Residents with old metal or bulk waste are therefore being encouraged to put them out, or contact Dave Hurley of the St. Peter DEO at 243-6009, for more information.
