The St. Peter Post Office is temporarily closed for sanitising, as a result of a staff member testing positive for COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution, all staff have been tested and are awaiting results.
During this time, postal workers will not be making normal deliveries.
In light of this, National Insurance Pension cheques may be collected from the St. Peter Post Office between noon and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9. Identification cards must be presented.
The St. Peter Post Office will reopen to the public on Monday, April 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
The Postmaster General apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks members of the public for their patience as the post office facilitates this very important process. Staff and customers are urged to adhere to all health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
