In celebration of the inscription of Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison to the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Division of Culture and Sports, within the Ministry of Family, Culture, Sports and Youth, has released a series of commemorative
stamps. The initiative is in collaboration with the Barbados World Heritage Committee and the Philatelic Bureau of the General Post Office.
The stamps which bear the images of the historic buildings within the World Heritage Property are in denominations of 10 cents, 65 cents, $2.00 and $2.75.
