Teachers will be upgrading their skills during the summer with four workshops organized by the Media Resource Department (MRD) of the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training.
Webpage Design and Video and Video Editing Workshops, which started this week, will come to an end tomorrow, Friday, July 12.
Other workshops in Creation of Teaching Aids and Production of Wooden Manipulatives, which also started this week, will end on Friday, July 19. The workshops run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily.
The Creation of Teaching Aids workshop is being held in MRD’s auditorium at the ministry, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, while the Production of Wooden Manipulatives will be conducted at St. Leonard’s Boys’ School, Richmond Gap, St. Michael.
MRD organizes the workshops each year during the summer holiday, as part of its mandate and commitment to professional development as well as to the retooling and upgrading of skills of Barbadian educators.
