The brand-new Supreme Court complex on Whitepark Road in Bridgetown will have its historic moment on Monday, October 5, by hosting the ceremony to mark the commencement of the Legal Year 2009-2010.

Following a 9:00 a.m. church service at James Street Methodist Church, Justices of Appeal, Judges of the High Court, Magistrates, Attorneys-at-Law and Jurors will proceed to the new Supreme Court where the Royal Barbados Police Force will form a guard of honour.

After inspection of the guard of honour, Chief Justice Sir David Simmons will deliver an address in Court No. 1.
