Teachers’ Professional Day will be observed this Friday, October 21, and all schools will be closed.
However, the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has encouraged the management of schools to organise activities for professional development and the advancement of their institutions.
The day is part of the activities to mark Education Month 2016, which is being celebrated this year under the theme: Education: 50 and Beyond. School re-opens on Monday, October 24.
