Barbadians are encouraged to come out and give their views on the draft National Population Policy when the National Population Commission hosts its first in- person/virtual meeting on Monday, March 20.
It will be held at the Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, St. Peter. The second meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 22, at the Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Cross Roads, St. Philip, and the final meeting will be at The St. Michael School, Martindales Road, St. Michael, on Thursday, March 23. All meetings will run from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The draft policy may be viewed by clicking here. Persons participating virtually can do so via the BGIS Facebook page. Individuals may also submit written comments on the draft policy via email to populationpolicy@barbados.gov.bb by Friday, March 31.
