Members of the public are encouraged to attend the Parliamentary Reform Commission’s town hall meeting on Thursday, September 14, at the Lester Vaughan School, Cane Garden, St. Thomas, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The Cabinet of Barbados: The Role of Ministers and Their Relationship with Parliament is the theme of the discussion. The presenters will examine: Is There a Way for Greater Accountability to the Public? and Should Ministers Be Drawn from Elected Parliamentarians or Outside the Parliament?
Those addressing the meeting will include President of the Senate, Reginald Farley; former Member of Parliament and Attorney General, Adriel Brathwaite, and former Senator and Minister, Maxine McClean.
