The grand rehearsal for the Remembrance Day Parade and Service will take place on Sunday, November 3, in National Heroes Square, The City, between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m.

From 6:00 to 10:00 a.m., several roads in Bridgetown will be closed to all vehicular traffic. They are Trafalgar Street, Rickett Street, High Street, Wharf Road and Upper Broad Street.

During that period, Broad Street from its junction with Prince William Henry Street, to its junction with High Street, will be closed to all vehicular traffic. In addition, traffic will not be allowed to travel from Fairchild Street on to the Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge.

No person will be allowed to park along Belmont Road, Constitution Road, Martindale’s Road, St. Michael Row, Bridge Street, Trafalgar Street, Magazine Lane, Coleridge Street, Palmetto Street or Rickett Street.

All drivers, riders, pedestrians and riders or leaders of animals using any of these roads are urged to exercise caution and comply with any order given by a member of The Barbados Police Service in uniform.

Members of the public are advised that the traffic management plan will also be in effect on the day of the actual Remembrance Day Parade and Service on Sunday, November 10.
