Businesses, government agencies, hotel operators, residents, and other stakeholders in the Porters to Holders Hill, St. James area, are invited to a community consultation on Thursday, May 25, at the Mango Bay Hotel, Second Street, Holetown, St. James, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., and again from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
The meetings are organised by the St. James Central District Emergency Organisation, in collaboration with the Department of Emergency Management and the Coastal Zone Management Unit, as part of work being done towards making the community tsunami ready.
During the meetings, persons will have an opportunity to hear presentations about the Community Emergency Operations Plan, review and make recommendations on the tsunami evacuation map.
