Barbadian digital creators in the film industry will get the opportunity to vie for six spots available to Caribbean creatives to showcase their work at the 10th edition of the International Visual Effects Festival, the Paris Image Digital Summit (PIDS) Enghien.
Open to Caribbean participants for the first time, the PIDS Enghien will be held from Wednesday, January 31, to Saturday, February 3, 2024, in the city of Enghien-les-Bains, France. Interested digital creators must be between 18 and 35 years.
The opportunity is being provided through the Programme Transcultura: Integrating Cuba, the Caribbean and the European Union through Culture and Creativity. It is funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Regional Office for Culture in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Programme has partnered with the Arts Centre of the City of Enghien-les-Bains to provide the opportunity for the chosen six to equip them with enhanced professional tools to further their career development in film.
Proposals should be submitted by Friday, November 3, by sending an email to transcultura.programme@unesco.org and copied to as.guma@unsesco.org with the subject: PIDS Enghien2023.
