The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that alternate weekly visits to the Geriatric Hospital, Beckles Road, St. Michael, will resume from this Sunday, September 18.
Visits to wards on Units Three and Four were restricted from August 18, following a small COVID-19 outbreak. The situation has since been brought under control.
The alternate weekly visits will resume as follows:
- The week starting Sunday, September 18, on Tuesday and Thursday only, Units Two and Three comprising wards 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6B, 7B, 8B, 9B and 10B.
- The week starting Sunday, September 25, on Tuesday and Thursday only, Units One and Four comprising Wards 2B,3B, 4B, 5B, 8A, 9A and 10A.
Members of the public should note that visits of 15 minutes’ duration will be facilitated between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m.
