The Green Climate Fund (GCF), the Caribbean Community Climate Change, and Aquasure Barbados, in association with the Barbados Water Authority, present “Water Is Life”, a series of free Water Conservation workshops.  They are sponsored by the GCF and coordinated by Haigh Communications Inc.

The primary focus will be on the impacts of climate change on the water sector in Barbados. These workshops will highlight the actions that must be taken immediately to manage, mitigate, and adjust to the scarcity of our water supply. They will be held on Friday, November 24, and Tuesday, November 28, at Solidarity House, Harmony Hall, St. Michael.

The workshops will target participants from both primary and secondary schools, non-governmental organisations, youth development groups, and local communities. To register, please contact Haigh Communications Inc. at 836-4629, or email waterislife@haigh.group.

The first 150 persons to register and attend will receive a credit equivalent to the minimum charge towards their December 2023 water bills, donated by Haigh Communications Inc., as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. To be eligible, a copy of the water bill must be presented at the workshop.
