Members of the public are reminded that the deadline for submitting applications for the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) Global Awards 2024 Program is Sunday, March 31.

The competition is open to start-ups, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises across the world, active in all sectors of the economy, including technology, agriculture, and the creative industries.

Applications using all forms of intellectual property (IP) ranging from copyrights to trademarks, patents, to geographical indications, will be accepted. For details and to submit entries, persons should visit   https://www.wipo.int/global-awards/en/how-to-apply.html.

The theme of the WIPO Global Awards is IP and the SDGs: Building Our Common Future with Innovation and Creativity.

The WIPO’s Global Awards Program is dedicated to honouring the small-business community for their exceptional achievements in driving IP assets into profitable commercial ventures; leveraging IP for business growth; and delivering commercial solutions for SDG impact.

The WIPO Global Awards 2024 ceremony will be held in July, in Geneva.
