Erdiston Teachers’ Training College will host a Health Fair on Tuesday, November 28, at the College grounds, from 10.00 a.m. until 2.00 p.m.
Education Officer, Secondary Schools, with responsibility for the National Nutrition Policy, Hedda Phillips Boyce, will deliver the feature address at the opening ceremony, which begins at 10.00 a.m.
The ceremony will be followed by the first Healthy Bajan Cou Cou secondary schools’ competition, with prizes donated by Natures Discount, Sagicor Insurance, and Unicomer (Barbados) Ltd.
A number of Health Care booths will be on site, including the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Brydens Stokes Health & Wellness Division, NPure Waters, UWI Medical students, Lifetime Credit Union, the National Nutrition Centre and Courts Optical.
