The Ministry of Agriculture’s Food Crop Research and Development and Plant Protection Departments will conduct a number of workshops for members of the Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP).
The first session will be held tomorrow, Thursday, February 8, at the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute facility, located on the Ministry of Agriculture’s Graeme Hall, Christ Church, compound. Workshops will be held every Tuesday and Thursday until February 20.
The objectives of the collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and BARP include educating attendees on best practices in plant care, the use of non-chemical pesticides, and plant diseases and pests.
