Persons who graduated from secondary school between 2013 and 2018 are invited to the ‘A Ganar’ Job Fair and Evaluation, to be held at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology, Wildey, St. Michael, on Saturday, May 5, from noon until 6:00 p.m.
The event is an opportunity for unemployed school leavers to find their dream job. Employers will showcase their products and services during the fair and scout for potential employees. Those who attend will also benefit from interview tips and techniques from leading employers and Human Resources professionals.
The event will also double as an evaluation platform for the ‘A Ganar’ programme, which is part of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation’s Skills for the Future Program.
The evaluation is being done to ascertain how the programme has benefited those persons who attended, compared to those who did not. Individuals who participate in the evaluation process will be given a small monetary incentive.
